Kessa
Kessa
Kessa is a traditional exfoliating glove used in Moroccan bathing rituals (hammam) and family homes. The washcloth is designed to help deeply cleanse and exfoliate the skin.
How to use:
1. Start by soaking in a warm bath or shower to help soften the skin and open up the pores.
2. Apply soap (sabon beldi) or body wash to your skin or the washcloth itself.
3. Wet the kessa with warm water and gently squeeze out any excess water.
4. Gently massage your skin in circular motions using the washcloth.
5. Pay special attention to rough areas such as elbows, knees and heels.
6. Rinse your skin thoroughly with warm water to remove any remaining soap or exfoliated skin particles.
7. Follow up with a moisturizer to hydrate and nourish the skin.
Using a Moroccan washcloth for exfoliation can help improve skin texture, promote circulation and leave your skin feeling soft and smooth.
